Is a technological singularity coming to Ninja World?
In Episode 35, Amado teamed up with Kawaki and abducted Kishi.
It is likely that Amado’s goal is Kishi’s divine art, “Juhou.”
If he can master the “ability to see all possible futures,” he will not only be able to improve his own technical skills but also learn about the possibility of Akebi’s reincarnation.
Furthermore, by obtaining this information about the future, Amado is expected to become a “singularity” just like Boruto and Ada.
In other words, Episode 35 can be seen as a prelude to Ninja World literally reaching a “technological singularity.” The dawn of a new era is near.
The term “technological singularity” refers to “a future in which rapid evolution and change in science and technology bring about decisive changes in human life.”
In *BORUTO*, a “singularity” refers to someone who has obtained a great deal of information about the future and is considered a presence that destabilizes the future.
In the future, Ninja World will see science and technology develop at an accelerating pace, venturing into realms beyond human reach.
At the beginning of Episode 1 of Part 1, Kawaki stated, “The era of the ninja is coming to an end.”
Doesn’t this signify the arrival of the “age of science”—a concept that has long been presented as the polar opposite of ninja training?
Currently, Kawaki downplays the importance of training and relies entirely on Amado’s scientific abilities.
This is likely the “conclusion that Kawaki will reach on his own,” as Bolt mentioned in Episode 15.
Perhaps in the near future, a mindset like Kawaki’s will spread throughout the entire Ninja World.
Ninja World itself will become dependent on science, gradually forgetting the importance of training and the very reason for the existence of ninjas.
Kawaki is at the forefront as the leader driving this scientific era forward.
In contrast, it seems Bolt will be the one to resist this major trend as a ninja.
